The Call of a Tile Mover

Becoming a Blessable Worship Ministry

Every worship ministry desires to lead people into a meaningful encounter with God.

Teams spend countless hours rehearsing, preparing music, refining technology, and striving for excellence. Yet even with talented musicians, strong leadership, and well-planned services, something can still be missing.

The missing element is often the one thing we cannot create on our own: the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit.

Great worship is more than excellent music. It is more than flawless execution or technical perfection. True worship occurs when God sees a ministry aligned with His heart and pours His presence into everything that is said, sung, and experienced.

The question is not simply, "Are we prepared?"

The deeper question is, "Are we positioned for God's blessing and anointing?"

Worship Ministry Retreats

Is Your Worship Ministry Missing Something?

Even healthy worship ministries can unknowingly drift from their primary purpose.

Signs that a ministry may be operating without full alignment include:

Commitment to rehearsals is inconsistent.
Performance begins to overshadow the message.
Excellence is expected but not pursued.
Directors are viewed as teachers rather than equippers.
Team members are supportive publicly but critical privately.
Gifts and talents are offered conditionally.
Worship leaders lead worship without personally worshiping.
Leadership titles exist without leadership influence.
Worship becomes an activity rather than a response to God.

These challenges are often symptoms of a deeper need for vision, unity, and spiritual alignment.

The Retreat Experience

The Call of a Tile Mover is a one-, two-, or three-day retreat designed for worship leaders, musicians, vocalists, technical teams, pastors, and anyone involved in preparing or leading worship.

The retreat is built around the acronym ANOINT, providing a practical framework for creating a worship ministry that is positioned for God's blessing and influence.

A.N.O.I.N.T.

A – Allow a unified message and vision to define us.

N – Navigate through music in spirit, truth, and excellence.

O – Offer freedom of expression to worship leaders and directors.

I – Invest spiritual gifts into the life of the ministry.

N – Never sing or play to an audience. Help people listen to God instead.

T – Target a heart for aligned ministry.

Through teaching, discussion, self-assessment, and team interaction, participants gain practical tools to strengthen both the spiritual and relational health of their worship ministry.
